Rahul Gandhi Attacks PM Modi in Bihar, Says ‘He Can Do Anything for Votes’

Muzaffarpur (Bihar): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took a strong swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a Mahagathbandhan rally in Muzaffarpur on Wednesday, claiming that the PM “can do anything for votes — even dance.”

Addressing a massive crowd alongside RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and other opposition leaders, Gandhi said,

“If you tell Modi ji to do drama for votes, he would do it. If you tell him you’ll vote for him and ask him to dance, he’ll dance.”

The rally marked a major show of opposition unity ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, scheduled for November 6 and 11, with results to be declared on November 14.

‘Nitish Kumar Is Just a Face, BJP Holds the Remote’: Rahul Gandhi

Gandhi further targeted the NDA government in Bihar, claiming that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is merely a “face,” while the BJP controls the government remotely.

“Three or four people control it. The BJP has the remote. They don’t believe in social justice,” Gandhi said, adding that the Prime Minister has remained silent on the caste census issue.

The Congress leader’s remarks drew loud applause from the crowd as he accused the BJP of working against the principles of social equity.

BJP Fires Back, Calls Remarks ‘Insult to Indian Voters’

Soon after Gandhi’s comments went viral, the BJP hit back sharply.
Party spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari posted on X (formerly Twitter):

“Rahul Gandhi speaks like a local goon. He has insulted every poor Indian and voter of Bihar who voted for PM Modi.”

Bhandari accused Gandhi of “mocking Indian democracy” through his speech.

Earlier in the day, BJP’s Amit Malviya shared a sarcastic post suggesting that Gandhi had been “missing for 59 days,” referencing the Congress leader’s reduced public appearances before the campaign.

Bihar Elections 2025: A Heated Battle Ahead

With both phases of polling approaching, the war of words between the Congress-RJD alliance and the BJP-JD(U) has intensified. Rahul Gandhi’s comments have reignited the political temperature in Bihar, where issues of caste census, social justice, and leadership control are at the heart of the campaign narrative.
